Romans 10:14 says, “How then shall they call on Him (Jesus) in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?” Those with hearing limitations cannot hear and understand the Gospel unless someone takes the time to tell them directly. With over 50 years of interpreting experience among our staff, we here at God’s Adventure Camp feel passionately about reaching the deaf community for Christ.

     Offered for the first time at GAC, Deaf Retreat is sure to be an enlightening experience. This retreat is geared towards those with hearing limitations. However, we invite anyone with experience in sign language or desiring to learn sign language to register for this retreat. Guest speaker, Pastor Jim Bracelin, works with Silent Word Ministries to see deaf people saved and discipled. Jim and his wife, Terry, hold Fantastic Saturdays, evangelistic meetings with the deaf, help start deaf ministries and help existing deaf ministries.
