Bruce and Sheri Greene are the founders and directors of God’s Adventure Camp. Bruce has been the Youth Director of First Baptist Church in Roulette, PA since 1981. He and Sheri teach at Potter County Christian School. They have six grown children and two grandchildren. While their main jobs include director and head cook they also fill in as speakers, counselors, wranglers, lifeguards, maintenance, housekeeping, bus drivers, and wherever else needed. They have a huge heart for the community in which God has placed them.
Ben and Heather Post both graduated from Miracle Mountain Ranch School of Discipleship with degrees in Biblical Ministries and Horsemanship. They were married in 2018 and now have two children on junior staff. Heather grew up at GAC and has been involved in camp ministries her whole life. She currently serves as our Equine Director. Ben has served as counselor, speaker, and wrangler. He currently serves in the areas of maintenance and marketing.
Robin and Sue Wolfe better known around camp as "Grandpa Robin and Grandma Sue," have recently become an important part of our ministry. Although they have been long time financial supporters, now they have the opportunity to be involved in the day to day activities at camp. Grandpa Robin can be found on a lawn mower almost all summer, and Grandma Sue is often found with a staff child holding her hand. They have also proven invaluable as kitchen staff, helping at every retreat and most every meal in the summer.
Lance and Elaine Nicholes are a young couple that have proven indispensable to GAC. Married in the summer of 2015 they now have four children who help as junior staff. Although they live near State College, Lance and Elaine come up for most retreats throughout the year and help when they can in the summer. Lance is an HVAC technician and Elaine is a stay-at-home mom. Elaine serves as our Social Media Liason and Lance speaks for several events.
Jethro Smith is a recent graduate of Potter County Christian School. He has helped wrangle in the barn, run games, and help wherever needed. He has been a huge help in our mechanics area. He is currently employed at a local car garage.
He helps at GAC by repairing broken machinary and keeping things running smoothly in the maintenance areas.
Esther “Squeak” Post is a recent nursing graduate of Maranatha Baptist University in Watertown, WI. Squeak has counseled, wrangled, cooked, performed special music for our chapel services, and helped in various other things. Although currently located in Ormond Beach, FL, Squeak comes home often throughout the year for retreats and in the summer to serve as camp nurse and fill in where needed.
